What is People's Mic?
The People's Mic allows speakers to create a channel and broadcast their voice to any number of people at any range, using only their smartphones. Listeners can either search for a mic within the app, or be invited with a link via text.
How do I download People's Mic?
People's Mic is available on iOS and Android.
Is People's Mic secure?
We have included a number of security measures to ensure that your channel remains yours for as long as you're using it, and will continue strengthening security over subsequent releases.
How far apart can people be for People's Mic to work?
Because this is a digital tool, People's Mic works at any range--so you can about on opposite sides of a table, or opposite coasts of the country, and it will work the same.

How do I broadcast in the People's Mic app?
To broadcast your voice, open the app and select “broadcast”. Create a name for your channel, and hit “done.” To begin broadcasting to other devices, hit “start broadcasting.” To send a link to your channel to other users, tap “share mic.” When you’re done speaking, click “exit mic.”
How do I listen to someone's mic on the People's Mic app?
To listen to a broadcast, you can either open the app and select “listen,” or toggle to the listen feature from the broadcast screen. Enter the name of the mic you’re looking for. All mic names are case sensitive for security purposes. Select the mic you want to listen to, and you’ll begin hearing the voice of the broadcaster. You can also access a mic simply by clicking on a link sent to you via text.
How do I delete a mic that I'm connected to?
To delete a mic you no longer need, simply swipe left on the mic name, and click the “X".
